Study Routes
English Language Courses
Pre-sessional English Course, Foundation Pathway course. This programme is specifically designed for international students who need to improve their English language skills before commencing their degree programmes.
Pre-Masters
If an international student does not meet the requirement for a master’s course, they can sign up for a pre-master’s programme. Course ranges are available from ten weeks to 12 months. A minimum level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required to apply.
Foundation
Foundation courses mainly prepare the students to start their main course at the university in the UK. This is called pre-university entry level study to procced into an undergraduate course. A minimum level of IELTS 4.5 (no less than 4 in each module) or equivalent is required to apply for this course.
Postgraduate
UK postgraduation or master’s courses take around one or two years to complete. Sometimes work experience is required for professional level courses. IELTS score of 6-7 is required depending on university and courses.
Undergraduate
UK under graduation degree is a bachelor’s degree that takes three years to complete full-time. A minimum level of IELTS 6 (no less than 5.5 in each module) or equivalent is required to apply. Tuition fees range is between £15,000 to £38,000 depending on courses and universities.
PhD / Research
An eligible student needs to demonstrate a successful completion of undergraduate degree with at least 2:2 and a master’s degree. IELTS score of 7 is required for some cases. Mphil (Master of Philosophy) and MRes (Master of Research) are postgraduate research programme.
